Coronavirus/COVID 19
Courts in St. Louis and St. Charles County have closed their traffic and criminal dockets except for confined dockets for people who are currently in jail after the Missouri Supreme Court ordered all Missouri courts to do close non-emergent dockets due to COVID-19. This means most court dates will be continued to a later date. However, if you recently received a DWI, you still need to move quickly to hire an attorney. The delay of holding open dockets does not mean the courts are closed or that action on your license case will be delayed. You are still limited to a 15 day window to request a hearing on your license case. An attorney will also still be able to enter on your case, request discovery, and begin negotiations with the prosecuting attorney. Call, text, or email us today to get started!
